Originally identified in 1940 and first isolated in 1963, Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the 100+ Cannabinoids - second most prevalent to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) - found in hemp and cannabis.

Cannabinoids are natural compounds that interact with the CB1 and CB2 receptors of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which is generally responsible for regulating balance and homeostasis of the body. Our ECS is stimulated by both “endocannabinoids,” which are naturally produced in the body, and “phyto-cannabinoids” which are derived from plants like hemp and cannabis, such as CBD.

A large number of people have found CBD therapeutic for a variety of ailments and disorders, and effective as a supplement for general well being. Furthermore, an increasing number of medical professionals are finding additional medical applications and benefits from CBD consumption.

No. The Cannabidiol (CBD) compound itself is the same whether it’s extracted from hemp or cannabis. But it is important to review the specific product you’re considering as cannabis-derived CBD products often contain larger quantities of THC. All products offered here contain 0.3% THC or less, with a specific section of our store dedicated to THC-free products.

It depends on how precise you desire your serving size of cannabidiol (CBD), how quickly you’d like to absorb the CBD, and why you’re using it.

Capsules and edibles (including CBD pet treats) should provide the most accurate serving of Cannabidiol (CBD). Although oils and liposome servings of CBD are relatively predictable and accurate thanks to droppers and pump mechanisms.

Vaping CBD is the quickest way to absorb CBD into the body. Although many users claim topical CBD absorbs and provides near-immediate benefit to the specific areas of the body they're applied.

If you’re looking to target a specific body part with CBD, topical products are your best bet, compared to capsules, oil, vape, and edible CBD products which are consumed orally.

No. Cannabidiol (CBD) by itself is non-psychotropic and non-intoxicating. Of course, many CBD infused products (not found in our store) also contain substantial levels of THC that will cause a high. Hemp-derived and all products found in our store possess zero to 0.3% THC that will not create any high for the consumer.

Assuming the use of no other drugs, if you’re using THC-free CBD products, you will not fail a drug test. Drug tests don’t test for cannabidiol (CBD) but rather metabolites from THC consumption.

If you’re only consuming CBD products with 0.3% THC or less, you have a low risk of failing a drug test. With that said, we cannot and will not make any claims or guarantees for users consuming products containing even trace amounts of THC.
